Morgan Stanley launches bitcoin swaps
According to Bloomberg, U.S. Bank Morgan Stanley is technically ready to launch its bitcoin swaps in that case, if there is interest in this tool from customers.
Morgan Stanley is not going directly to trade itkonen, and swaps, primarily tied to futures contracts on bitcoin. Executive officer James Gorman earlier this year said that the Bank will not allow customers to buy and sell cryptocurrency directly through Morgan Stanley, but instead ready to launch trading platform to support a variety of instruments attached to digital assets.
It should be noted that last month Morgan Stanley was appointed to the post of head of division on work with the markets of digital assets Saw Andrew, a former Vice-President of sales and innovation of the Swiss Bank Credit Suisse.
