Forget Z9 Mini Antminer, Bitmain presented in may. Now the company announced a “full version” of asik on the Equihash algorithm called Antminer Z9.
Characteristics of the device imply Hasrat to 40 000 Sol/s (solutions per second) when the power consumption 1150 W (Z9 mini gives 10 000 Sol/s when consumption 250 watts). This means that a miner can potentially provide a yield of $65,5 per day, or $1960 per month. The company plans to start shipping from September at a price of $3319 (power supply not included).
Competition asik may be the recently introduced A9 ZMaster from the company Innosilicon with hasraton 50 000 Sol/s with power consumption of only 620Вт, but with a price three times higher (although at the moment the first batch of these Asimov already sold out). Real photos of miner Bitmain is not shown, limiting the render device, which shows an elongated copy of the two younger models gathered together.
The chips, used in Z9 Mini, very well dispersed, so two Z9 Mini can easily reach 30 000 Sol/s at a consumption of 700 watts. Given this and the fact that the device apparently has only seven connectors PCI-E power (six boards for ASIC and one for the control boards), we can assume that Bitmain has cut the number of chips and have achieved maximum acceleration.
At the moment Bitmain is taking pre-orders for the Antminer Z9 with paying in dollars, bitcoins, and Bitcoin Lytkina Cash.
Recall that the company Bitmain, the cost of which is estimated at $12 billion, has recently opened an office in Silicon valley, and is considering holding a record for the industry of the IPO.
