At the last last Thursday of the conference, the New York Times DealBook CEO of Google Sundar Pichai (Sundar Pichai) said that his 11-year-old son mines the cryptocurrency Ethereum, using your home computer.
“Last week, during a joint lunch with my son, I said something about bitcoin, and my son corrected me, explaining that I, apparently, speak about Ethereum, which is somewhat different. My son is 11 years old and he told me that produces the broadcast on your computer”.
Then he was asked did he farm for his son to help in his endeavors, Pichai replied in the negative, adding that they have at home only one computer, which he has collected himself. He also noted the increased interest of his son to virtual currencies.
“In the process of our conversation, I explained to the son how does the monetary system of the country and, in particular, paper money. But then, continuing our conversation, I realized that my son understands the work processes Ethereum is better than in how Fiat money. It was a good conversation.”
Son Pichai is not the only child among the children of executives of Google, which produces cryptocurrency. Earlier, in July, Google co-founder Sergey Brin (Sergey Brin) also reported that mines the Ethereum together with his son.
