American cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has begun to consider the options of launching an ETF on the cryptocurrency. As said, the magazine Business Insider, representatives of the trading platform shall consult with the investment group BlackRock.
Coinbase already offers a wide range of opportunities for investors, including possession of various assets and service transactions with them. Now the company expects to use the experience of BlackRock to launch exchange-traded product focused on the digital currency.
Sources close to the shopping platform, do not rule out that the composition of the investment basket Coinbase will include not only bitcoin, but other major coins. It is known that representatives of BlackRock while no specific recommendations to the staff of the exchange is not allowed.
