IBM launches payment system on the blockchain Stellar
IBM has chosen to partner blockchain project Stellar. In July it was reported that IBM in partnership with startup Stronghold will create stablon tied to the dollar. For the project it is also planned to use the blockchain network Stellar.
According to representatives of IBM, the new platform Blockchain World Wire will allow you to make payments in any amount, to transfer funds anywhere in the world, and will support the financial operations of any assets.
In the framework of the Blockchain World Wire, financial institutions can choose any of the digital assets and use them as a connecting link between two Fiat currencies. A quick conversion will improve the speed of payment transactions. Information about all financial transactions will be recorded in the blockchain Stellar: it will ensure the safety and transparency of activity of organizations for regulators.
According to representatives of IBM, the main advantages include faster processing of payments, increase of efficiency of clearing of Bank payments, reducing the cost of transactions.
The launch platform for the Blockchain World Wire by IBM strengthens Stellar and contributes to its widespread distribution.
