In Hong Kong will not ban crypto currency exchange


Carlson Tong Kashin, still acting Chairman of the SFC (securities and futures of Hong Kong) said that he excludes the possibility to forbid the cryptocurrency exchanges like the Chinese authorities. The announcement was published by the South China Morning Post.

Currently, the authorities are beginning to introduce new rules to regulate cryptobytes Hong Kong. At this moment the ban of cryptocurrency exchanges and other venues, is absolutely the wrong approach:

“We do not believe a complete ban of cryptocurrency platforms, the right approach. In today’s Internet world, at a time when the trading does not know national borders, it’s not going to work.”
