The acting head of the government of Armenia Nikol Pashinian was the start of the country’s largest mining centre. It is located in Yerevan.
At the opening ceremony of the complex was attended by the Armenian billionaire Gagik Tsarukian, head of the Multi Group concern, which is involved in the project on launching facility along with the company Omnia Tech.
It clarifies CryptoNews, citing local media, Tsarukyan has invested in the start-up of mining-farm $50 million In the first phase the company will operate 3,000 units of equipment for bitcoin mining and ether. The company then plans to increase the number of machines up to 12 000.
Mining-the center occupies two floors. On the first is a business center with offices of technology companies, and on the second the servers. The supply of the enterprise will be engaged in the Yerevan TPP, initially, the farm will receive about 500 MW of electricity.
At the opening ceremony of one of the world’s largest mining centres was attended by businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, China, South Korea and other countries. They also plan to hold talks with the Armenian leadership and discuss the most promising areas for investment in the economy.
Armenia is liberal to maximize the extraction of virtual assets. This winter the Georgian Parliament adopted a bill authorizing the mining of cryptocurrencies to persons under the age of 18. However cryptotrading in Armenia is still under the ban.
