The company “Cryptographers”, member of the Russian Association of cryptocurrency and blockchain appealed to the Minister of Finance of the RF Anton Siluanov with the proposal to legalize the industry of digital money.
Private miners will receive the status of self-employed that will reduce the taxes from 13% to 3-5%, according to the proposal of the company “Cryptographers” that she sent to the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov, reports “Kommersant”. Member of the Russian Association of cryptocurrency and blockchain (RAKIB) proposed several solutions in order to legalize the digital money in the country.
The new measures will simplify the control over the circulation of cryptocurrencies, miners will be able to legalize their income and to bring money into the state budget, according to the company. Estimated RAKIB, now the industry employs over 350 thousand Russians.
“Cryptographers” stressed the need to create a tool to legally convert a crypto currency into rubles. Now the miners have to use shady ways to cash out the digital money, the loss budget for this year amount to more than 2 billion rubles.
This proposal will not please everyone. According to a member of the expert Council on digital economy and blockchain technologies at the state Duma Nikita Kulikov, all miners status self-employed — populism and the authors do not understand the legal nuances and procedures of these issues. Now miners can choose to pay a tax of 13% and the rate of 3% -5% is due only to the desire of the initiator of the proposal, the expert said.
