South Korea will double the amount of blockchain projects
The South Korean government plans to increase to 2019, the number of blockchain projects and funding.
The Korean Agency for Internet and security (KISA), an organization under the Ministry of information and communications technology in South Korea. According to the Agency, they intend to increase the number of pilot blockchain projects in the public sector 6 this year to 12 next.
In 2019 we plan to increase the number of pilot blockchain projects in the public sector to 12. We also want to support more than three national blockchain projects, led by private sector.

At the same time, the Agency wants to increase the budget for the pilot blockchain projects next year to more than 10 billion Korean won (about $ 9 million), in addition to another 9-million to the Fund, which is designed for this and next year.
In June, the Ministry of information and communications technology in South Korea presented a plan for joint work with other ministries to develop in the public sector 6 the blockchain projects. They were selected from the 72 project ideas submitted 41 organization.
The results of the current pilot projects will be announced in November. In December, the Agency will hold a block chain hackathon to select ideas for new projects.
