Spain will launch the largest mining centre on solar energy
Chinese energy company Risen Energy signed an agreement with the Spanish startup CryptoSolarTech about running two farms mining cryptocurrency through solar energy. In the framework of this agreement near the Spanish city of Malaga will be built two mining enterprises, using the energy accumulated by solar panels. They will form a single center.
Solar panels installed in the centre for mining cryptocurrency will generate up to 300 MW of electricity per day, according to CoinTelegraph, citing Chinese media. For comparison, if bitcoin mining average farm per day consumes 200 MW.
Complex mining of cryptocurrencies under the Malaga will become the largest mining company in Spain. In June of this year, startup CryptoSolarTech was able to get the ICO and has attracted investments in their projects in the amount of $68.2 million.
