The largest Bank of South Korea in partnership with the telecommunication provider of the country, KT Corp is developing a new platform based on the blockchain
The second largest Bank of South Korea Shinhan Bank will partner with the second largest Telecom provider KT Corp, the country with the aim of developing a new platform based on the blockchain.
The Korea Times reports that the new platform aims to use recent regional governments across the country to introduce digital vouchers.
In July soobshili that KT Corp has launched a commercial blockchain, capable of processing 2,500 transactions per second, becoming the first mobile operator in the world created such a platform. KT Corp also announced that it plans before the end of 2018 to increase the capacity to more than 100,000 transactions per second.
