The Nasdaq received a patent for blockchain-solution for news feeds


Specializing in high-tech stocks, the Nasdaq received a patent for a blockchain-based system for publishing news information. This was reported on the website of the Office for patents and trademarks (USPTO).

The paper describes the possibilities of using technology a distributed registry for secure distribution of information and restrictions by the time of publication. Technology smart contracts will allow to distribute recipient-specific information at a set time.

Thus, according to the developers, the blockchain and smart contracts can be used effectively to automate the process of publishing information, making it more secure.
