The SEC will rule on the bitcoin ETF from ProShares after 3 days

Three days later, the Commission on securities and exchange Commission (SEC) will hold a meeting on the application for the listing of ProShares exchange traded Fund based on bitcoin futures.

ProShares intend to add Bitcoin funds ProShares ETF and ProShares Short Bitcoin ETF listed on the new York stock exchange (NYSE). These funds are based on futures contracts on bitcoin from the CME or the CBOE. This suggests that ETF will be working not with the actual bitcoin directly, but derived from it tool.

ProShares already tried to open bitcoin ETF a year ago, but the SEC rejected their claim. Even the company doubted whether the idea of working in the realities of the market at the time.

We will remind that the Commission on securities and exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed for a month the consideration of applications to open bitcoin ETF from VanEck, and CBOE/SolidX. In this regard, the cryptocurrency market have plunged into another depression: everyone was waiting for the approval of the ETF and the subsequent explosive growth of quotations.
